All-New Shoshone Rose Casino and Hotel
Stunning Property to Open Doors in September
Lander, WY – The all-new Shoshone Rose Casino and Hotel will officially open in September 2016.
This $30 million facility is fully owned by the Eastern Shoshone Tribe. It will feature over 500 slot machines, five table games, over 60 hotel rooms, two restaurants, a gift shop, indoor swimming pool, meeting spaces, and a business center.
“We couldn’t be more excited about opening this new property,” said Darwin St. Clair, Chairman of the Eastern Shoshone Tribe. “It’s a great achievement for our people and our team members. It’s creating jobs and will bring more visitors, and therefore more revenue to our community.”
The new property will replace the existing casino, which opened in the summer of 2007. It will employ over 300 people and is expected to expand the tribe’s potential customer base.
“The hotel will be a real game-changer, helping to expand our customer base,” said Hotel Manager, Brooke Coppedge. “We’ll be offering the premier lodging option in our area, and therefore attracting visitors from as far away as Cheyenne, Fort Collins, Casper, and Salt Lake City.”
The hotel will feature four room types: Suites, King Deluxe, Standard King, Queen Deluxe, and Standard Queen. Select rooms feature balconies, fireplaces and wet bars; and all are available with ADA compliant options.
The Shoshone Rose Casino and Hotel is ideally situated in central Wyoming’s Wind River region, which offers visitors plenty of stunning views, outdoor activities, and family-fun events. In addition, the property it is less than three hours from Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks, making it a great base of operations for enjoying .
