Shoshone Rose Casino & Hotel has two options for satisfying your hunger during your visit. Deka-Guy Hee, which means “The Eating House†in Shoshone, is a family-friendly, sit-down restaurant. The casino also features The Snack Bar that serves classic diner fare on the go.

Deka-Guy Hee is a favorite for both the local community and guests of the casino and hotel. Restaurant Manager, Floyd St. Clair, says that visitors rave about the “House Specialty†Indian Taco – a taco that features delicious Indian fry bread. The menu highlights include unique omelettes, special burgers and Angus beef steaks. Be sure to satisfy your sweet tooth with a Fudge Brownie Sundae or Fresh Baked Pie from Mountain Ledge Baking in Dubois! The “House Specialty” Indian Taco

The Snack Bar is located in the casino, but all are welcome! It serves up tasty classics to hungry hotel guests, casino goers and to anyone craving a satisfying snack. Visitors love the pizza slices and hot pretzels – don’t forget the nacho cheese on the side! You can also get hot dogs, hamburgers and more. Feel free to enjoy your food on the casino floor. The Snack Bar is open Sunday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. to midnight and Friday and Saturday it’s open 24 hours.

St. Clair says, “We have a few regulars that we are very fond of.†One couple that has been coming in for a few years visit every morning and get their same breakfast with a request of Hazelnut creamer for their coffee. They are lovingly referred to as the “The Hazelnuts.†Another couple that stops in often is known as “The Huggersons†because of their loving warm hugs that they give everybody at the restaurant.

There are plans to offer room service to the hotel in the future. Employees are happy to prepare your food to-go though!
